Remembering victims
Friday is the 37th anniversary of the shootings at Kent State University, when Ohio National Guard soldiers opened fire on students protesting the Vietnam War. Four were killed. At its annual ceremony to commemorate that tragedy, the university also will pause to honor the memory of the victims from the April 16 massacre at Virginia Tech.
